If something is true, it is beautiful. Truth is beauty. Both can be pleasing and hurting at the same time. And it sometimes takes a tale to describe certain things, simply because that is the only way to fully paint the picture of the subject matter so the listener get a better view. Therefore to describe something beautiful, people can snug it off easily by saying ah! fairy tale.
So, truth and beauty in this song started off with a collision. Simply because in real life portrayal, they are absolute opposites, but in essence, they need no compromise because they are simply the same.
