Penang Drivers

Sorry to say it flat folks, there are not so many courteous drivers in Penang. It is very unlike Kuala Lumpur. Drivers in KL are very courteous.

So, if you are in Penang, be careful of young drivers in disco MYVIes and sad looking young ladies drivin' old Iswaras.

I had incidents every day being a local!

So Long Liz Taylor

Goodbye, Liz. You'd surely be greatly missed.

One, most beautiful woman. So natural.

I'd sing 'Candle in the Wind' just for you.

Arab Uprising

Perhaps the world is surprised with the sudden uprising of mainly the youths in some Arab nations. Many claim that these uprising are driven by the opposition wings of each nation, but the question remains on why it occurs in a sudden and ironically almost simultaneous.

I have no answer to offer you unfortunately.

If there should be any reason for all these to happen, the closest that comes to my mind is suppression. The youths are suppressed by their environment.

If that should be the reason, then these youngsters should know the source of such suppression. Who is the ultimate driver of such policy. If that comes to realization, very soon from now we should see some form of sentiment taking place.

Otherwise, if the uprising is driven by the ultimate suppressor himself, then there will be no clear sentiment taking place. Arabs will take on a new course towards losing it's own identity and tradition. Arabs will be more european.

Sendai Quake, Tsunami

My deepest sympathies to the families of the tsunami victims and my sincere condolences to the ones that may have lost their loved ones.

Japan is coping not only with the aftermath of tsunami, but also the unfortunate threats from nuclear plants failures.

From the latest news I heard, the weather has turned out to be bad as well.

The whole deal of nuclear energy right now has to be reconsidered and weighed upon really seriously. It is fair to do so by countries whose intention is to have one, however, the process may not be as easy for countries that are already relying on this energy no matter for whatever purpose. This is especially crucial for countries that are prone to quakes, those that are located on or near the major geological faults.

We have learned the hard way as to what had happened in Japan. The experts failed to acknowledge the potential natural threats the plants could be facing from a very clear evidence of active plate tectonics activities in that region.
