have I not noticed
the still-est of these nights
from all other nights
where the whitest of white doves
caged in darkness
while there were shadows
promises of the shall be
the shiny scales and pearly feathers
made the dimmest
faintest light of all
intrusive
into the hearts of the dark
the palest face of all
if there would be blood running at all
abstain in the name of might
whispering..
'take me for whatever it's worth'
bring them light
have it been true
from the words you've said before
how could you have
made hairiest hairless
yet bringing back all the greeneries
to the barren, scorching land of ours
if it ain't the TRUTH
cry on queen
drench over our filthiest souls
wash us up clean
we've won our second breaths
it brought us
not to the second best
call on thy lord.........
