I was surprised when a friend called to let me know of Zubir's death on friday.
I have known Zubir for 23 years but managed to meet him for the first time 3 months ago in Bangsar and shared a very short poem with him. Zubir was a very nice and kind person. Very down to earth.
May Allah bless his soul and keep his family strong.
